Brand New (Uni) Eyes and They Say It's Your Birthday...Well It's My Birthday Too Yeah...And It Really Was and Still Is For The Rest Of The Month :p

Hello, my name is Miss Miimii Moonbow and I'm a student at Nottingham Trent University, studying International Relations with Chinese and Japanese. Looool it really is a mouthful.
So here I am! I'm here, I'm surviving, funnily enough, quite well. I've been here about 6 days already and it already feels like it's been ages.
Ok, time for a little catch when my family left me all alone in this strange little place, I was terrified, I even cried for my mummy and daddy :( I have four fabulously strange flatmates, Tash who is a doll in her own right, Jake who is our constantly hungover zombie boy, Omer who is hardly here but is still lovely and Sophie who is such a cool 'dude' ;p lool
Next to Us, we have the Flat 8 lot; Tom, Becky, Jodi, Dan, and the other two who I always forget :p lool. They are all a lovely bunch of people and I couldn't really have better neighbours.
I have already been through two mandarin lessons and a I.R. with Global History lecture...which I must say killed my spirit a bit O.o there is so much I don't know which I should know :(
Nottingham as a City is alright...lool that's all I can say really. I miss my City wayyyy too much. The shopping, the food, the culture, the life. I really really miss it. Since I've been here, I've learnt to make friends with the taxi drivers lool one especially is this Cockney guy, absolutely awesome East-ender. It was quite brilliant, both of us reminiscing on the old days of London...loool
Oh, I do have to say, the best cocktail bar and cafe I've found so far is Coco Tang and it's Cafe counterpart. It truly is a find and the cocktails...truly intoxicating.  ><
So right now is day 9 and this blog has taken since I've started to write...thats doesn't bode well for me to be honest. Since then, I have reached a new decade, a new level of maturity...a new level of insanity and mischievousness ;) It really is a strange experience being 20... especially as most of my peers are still 18 =.=
I have already started the lecture process; three lots of mandarin in the bag and the IR modules being tomorrow, as well as Japanese >.< I really cant wait...the only draw back...it's from 5-7pm...=.= O,o T~T not cool!!!
Society and gym-wise, I have found my feet in the anime society. There is even a fellow IR, Mandarin and Japanese fellow and we are sttrraannggeelly similar...I wonder what that says about people doing this course combination...if there even are anymore. The gym is still a work in progress...hehehe >< I'll get round it in the next week or so...I hope ^^
Japland planning is still in progress and I have actually been saving...BRING ON 2011 >< lool Yorkie and I are as insane and in love as ever I like to think :p how could I not love that oddball?! I miss my Goku-Chippy but I do love hearing about his latest antics, he really is a character but I do have to give him a good talking to...stepping into mum mode :p Ebru and I are back on track and I miss my wife a lot...especially in those cold, lonely nights...;p loool me kid.
