Are you noticing a theme here? The last few post have consisted me apologising for the sake of my life lol and here is another one...this time in Japanese...済みません, 済みません, 済みません!!!!!!!! (sorry, sorry, sorry :(
Well this this post is going to beat my epic summer post as I have about 5 months to make up for. The same goes for my culinary blog (which is about 6 months behind ;/). Personally I blame mobile technology and HTC...they should have a blog app.
Well before I continue my ranting and blamming, lets get started...
November was a pretty standard month. I was still getting used to feeling of being independant, and in all honesty, at times I was like "wooooo party time, I'm free, lets get the cocktails rolling"...yeahhhh... and at other times, I would be like "I WANT TO GO HOOMMMMEEE" to the tune of Michael Buble's song Home. (Speaking of the Buble, apparently he is moving to Corydon...if thats triue then...*commence fangirl squeeling on an epic scale*
It probably didn't help that also at this time, I was being teased with the idea of having assignments to complete (which would later come back to bite me in the ass) but due to me being the Queen of Procrastination, I ignored that. Also the little issue of being in a state of depression but we'll leave that, shall we?!
During this time, Tash and I really started to get along witht he guys form upstaris; Veggie (Rikesh) and Furby/faggot/gaylord/fuckwit/northern twit (Tom). they are truely lovely guys and I love them to pieces...although Tom just makes me want to kill him...everything he says is either offensive or insulting...but hey, thats his way...I guess...=.=
Well that went by quickly, and before I knew it, it wass December alrwady. The proscpects of coming home and presents and beong fed were all around. Being wioth my friends, my loved ones, all the people who reminded me of home.But by this point, I was almost sad to leave, as I have made some truely great friends here. The newbies to be added to my Nottingham family are; The Bishi (Bishounen or girly boy) Alex, Amelia, Mikki, Lolly Lilo (Lois), Mika-Mika-chan, Mari-chan, Christel, Damaris, Cyn, Emma (who tends to get high on a mixture of Fanta and Coke and tbh is on a constant natural high lol), Ade, and another Alex, Wai Shan, most of my Mandarin and Japanese classes...gosh this is getting long. But as you can see, being in Nottingham has brought a lot of wonderful people to my side.
The christmas break wasn't too bad. Pretty standard in all honesty. The "highlight", well whatever you call its opposite, was the killing of Mont and I...it was traggic. A lot of screaming and shouting from my parents...they forbade us from "seeing" each other. I was heartbroken...for a looonnnnggg time. Oh, and the heartache didnt stop there; straight away I fell out woith one of my best friends. she thought I was being idiotic for listening to my parents, that I had a choice, I should follow my heart.....she didn't and I dont think will ever understand. It wasnt my choice, I felt like I had no other option...the consequences were to great to risk it...horray for christmas breaks...=.=
(on the friend front, we made up eventually, but it took time and effort...after a major arguemnt...)
On to January and...you guessed it, its assignment time!!!! I only had a 2 weeks to get my essay sorted...but didn't I do it straight away...of course not, Coco Tang cocktail lounge called. 1 week to go, the presseure sest in and I feel like I have enough pressure on me to do a good piece of work. I got to 50 words and stopped for 4 more days...gosh I'm terrible loool. Finally, it was the night before and wrote without a problem.
Funnily enough, i came out with a 2:1...not too shabby ><
Me and my fellow geeks put on a geek movie night called "The Cake Is A Lie"; a ton of cake, geek movies and just random banter. T'was too much fun.
Februay was alright. Another assignmnet to hand in...2:2 grade this time. It would have been standanrd had it not been for the birth of my gorgeous baby cousin, Alister (guess who got to name him?...ME!!!!!! loool) He is too, beyond cute. I'll be dedicating a photo post to him soon. My mother and my sister also came up to visit me. It was a lovely weekend. I had an excuse to get out of the flat so I was happy lol. They found Nottingham odd, as did I when I first came...what can I say, we are Londoners through and through ^.^
Ohh, I should mention I am now a fully fledged member of the Japanese Society ^^ lol its an awesome group of people. Run by my tutor...its awesome. Bishi and a few of the girls join in too on occasion.
March...Oh yay, I am now up to date...that seriosuly dint take as long as a I thought it would...
well, so far this month, it has all been good. Mont and I are pretty good now, I have my bessie mate back...with added flirting ;p lool, and had the most awesome weekend with him...geeking out lool. Mika will be going back to Japan at the end of the month though...I'll be so sad to see her go :( On a happier note, i went to see the indie film adaptaion of my favorite film with Bish, it's called Norweigan Wood. It was really good, but I prefer the book lol. And as Mari put it, it was mainly just "artistic sex" lool
Right now, it's exam season so it's a time of horrid reading, writing and oral exams for us language students...absolutely horrid. I.R. is being nice and only giving me one exam, I'm so happy that it is mainly essay and presentation based ^.^
Well, I think that will be all for now until the end of the month. So till then, dear readers...
